環保署空氣監測車為監測斗六市的空氣品質，開上地標斗六圓環，蔚為奇觀。（周麗蘭攝）

一部來自環保署的空氣品質監測車為偵測雲林縣斗六市區的空氣汙染源，爬階梯開上斗六的地標圓環，引起民眾非議「奇觀」。環保署表示，該監測車需用220伏特的電力，圓環剛好有供電，加上圓環比較明亮安全，也可避免被搗毀。斗六市名列全台細懸浮微粒（PM2.5）濃度最高城市，環保署為解謎，特地開來巡迴全台3輛移動式環境監測車之一。原本該車在斗六高中宿舍旁駐點，前幾天卻以倒車方式硬爬階梯上斗六圓環。

斗六圓環原本有整點音樂水舞演出，雖於蘇治芬上任縣長後喊停迄今，仍是斗六地標，周邊有許多觀光飯店，算斗六市門面。爬上圓環的空品監測車還拉起封鎖線，民眾一開始以為圓環被撞，後來認為大車開上黏貼磁磚的圓環，實在太粗魯，畢竟周邊空位還很多。管理斗六圓環的縣府工務處表示，環保署曾行文要在圓環上停放監測車，鑑於耗費電力頗大，10月31日任務結束將結清付費。環保署表示，斗六圓環交通流量大，可監測尖峰、離峰汙染物的差異，非開上去不可的原因是考量用電，圓環可提供220伏特的電力，而車身只是看起來大，「其實不太重」。環保署還說，附近斗六高中校舍屋頂的固定空氣品質監測站已設立20多年，為釐清樓頂與地面汙染物的差異，才開來這部移動式環境監測車。(中國時報)，
